Course Description
This educational guide explains why biodiversity should be placed at the centre of school learning. It presents ten reasons for becoming a “School for Biodiversity” and shows how contact with nature can support patience, responsibility, wellbeing, respect for differences and collaborative learning.
The resource also connects biodiversity with civic education, the UN Sustainable Development Goals and different school subjects. It encourages schools to involve students, teachers, families and the wider educational community in protecting and enhancing biodiversity.
